What is DigiByte?
DigiByte (DGB) is a rapidly growing worldwide decentralized payment network & digital currency, inspired by Bitcoin. DigiByte allows you to move money over the internet similar to PayPal & Western Union but with many improvements, including lightning fast transactions with minimal or no fees. You send & receive DigiBytes to or from any DigiByte address in the world in a matter of seconds with no required sign up, registration, or hidden fees.
The mission of DigiByte is to bring the benefits of digital currency payment technology to merchants, consumers, & mainstream societies across the globe in the most easy to understand way possible.
Who Prints DigiBytes?
DigiBytes have no physical form, they are created and distributed digitally. Mining, in this case, refers to computing power. Everyone can mine DigiBytes using their computer. All you need is just a computer with proper software programs that follow a mathematical formula to produce DigiBytes.
DigiByte transactions are sent from and to electronic DigiByte wallets, and are digitally signed for security. Everyone on the network knows about a transaction, and the history of a transaction can be traced back to the point where the DigiBytes were produced. You can download a DigiByte wallet at DigiByte.co!
Absolute Security: Our number one priority will now and forever be network and user security.
Speedy Transactions: We strive to create the fastest possible decentralized transactions.
Worldwide Decentralization: Keep the network open, transparent and accessible at all times.
Ease of Use: Allow anyone to use and benefit from DigiByte in an easy to understand manner.
Flexible Innovation: Quickly improve, adapt and innovate as new technology and threats arise.
We envision DigiByte becoming a decentralized payment network & digital currency used by millions of people across the planet to quickly & easily buy and sell good & services over the internet, in store, or person-to-person with little to no fees.
DigiByte: Refers to the entire DigiByte network or a single monetary unit on the payment network. 21 billion DigiBytes will be created over 21 years.
Block: A grouping of all transactions sent over the DigiByte network within a 30 second time frame. Think of a block as an excel spreadsheet that lists the address location of all DigiBytes at a given point in time in history. New DigiBytes are brought into circulation as each block is discovered on the network through a process called mining.
Mining: Mining is how transactions are processed on the network. Anyone can become a miner by donating and using their desktop, laptop or mobile phone computing power to help process transactions on the DigiByte network.
Blockchain: The DigiByte blockchain is the entire history of all blocks discovered on the network & therefore all transactions made on the network. Each block references the proceeding block all the way back to the beginning of the network to what is known as the genesis block. By linking blocks (spreadsheets) together an accurate, secure accounting of all up to date DigiByte ownership is made by decentralized consensus.
Before 9-10 June DBG price on all exchanges take it pick point but growth stopped.
Why? Because it had top VOLUME on Bittrex, Poloniex, etc. It has not space to grow. Everybody were expecting Conference is Singapore. But nothing happened. Challenge winners was another project, and price dropped to 1800 satoshi. But whats coin holders were waiting for? Even if DGB has won that challenge, actually nothing could change. For now, Bomb info about any alt has more influence, than their small releases or information, that some stores started accepting this altcoin. Everybody just run over exchange and buy.
After unsuccessful challenge, everybody were waiting for MineCraft integration. Most coin holders thought that Microsoft will actually buy this coins to share them between MineCraft users. Actually, MS don’t have close touch with DGB. They gave opportunity, to people who host MineCraft servers to share N coins between K players daily. For DGB coins users can buy some game stuff, make donations. That’s all. In future it will give stable growth of Digi, but it will not give immediate pump. After bitcoin turbulence DGB reached it’s minimum price for last week, and it was time to buy it. Actually, I bought DGB when it was 330 satoshi and I didn’t sell it when it was 2600, but I’m still sure it will get 2600 and higher this summer.
For last month DGB dumped from 2600 satoshi to 1000 satoshi after Citi Bank Challenge. Even presentation of http://minethatdigi.com miner service for MineCraft didn’t safe it’s position. But on a long term Digi seems to be growing, and I think it will be 3000 satoshi at 1st of August, and if you still didn’t have DigiByte – try to find out what is it and how it will change the future
